I spent national day with my family, mostly. Had delicious home-cooked lunch at home before heading down to church to help faith n vee with rttp decor. Went all the way to parkway w faith to get the A1 corrugated boards and queued up for koi! YUM:) oh, did you know if you rotate the word KOI 45 degrees to the left you get the chinese character "dou", which is bean. i thought it was very clever until i realised that koi sells bubble tea not soya bean milk....
been quite an eventful weekend for me, but i've tuition tmr at 9am so let me summarise:
FRI- lunch w colleagues followed by costume rental for staff dinner (i got a han bok!). i left my phone in the cab on the way to the rental shop so kept calling till the taxi uncle picked up (later he told us he didn't know how to answer the call! touch screen...) Thank God i managed to get it back:)
went to meet vee n nicole for dinner after that, and we watched the last airbender! it's not too bad, despite the bad reviews. it's a decent action film, just not as humourous as the cartoon.
SAT- went to donate blood with taariq in the morning! too bad his veins were too small so he couldn't donate:/ then i had tuition with abby, then i went home and slacked the rest of the day! haha ok not very eventful there.
SUN- church service, then short leaders' meeting, then off to play netball at my junior's church! wah i'm aching slightly from the exercise. i haven't played in ages!!! and missing it more now..
evening was our annual SNP national day hide-and-seek!! managed to spend some time with Rita (friend from China on holiday here) so that was good:)
by the time i reached home i was so exhausted i dozed off for awhile on the com before dragging my stinky self to the shower and to bed...
