things i've been dying to tell you all week!

Term 3 Week 1 was a blast! i mean it literally, as in, it was so packed my brain's all saturated with stuff i wasn't able to pen down cuz i was coming home so late and had to wake up so early. YES i forsook fb for a whole 3 days! HAHA. seems like forever (i know, terrible right) and i'm blabbering now cuz i haven't blogged for that long.

first things first! 

UPDATE: 

tues interview went well! it was this nice caucasian lady interviewer, an assc prof, who was friendly and didn't make me more stupidly nervous than i already was. she asked general guiding qns which weren't annoyingly vague (e.g. tell me about yourself) nor unreasonable (e.g. name the ethical issues surrounding the Human Genome Project). i did prepare for that last question by the way, cuz i was freaking out that much in the car on the way there, caught in that terrible PIE jam caused by 2 accidents. i called poor michelle and she could amazingly tell me some of the ethical stuff we learnt during the bio lectures we slept thru. ANYWAY i should know the results next week, or later.

let's go LAURENT BERNARD'S @ robertson quay! because the chocolate desserts there are to die for, like seriously, i hardly can tell the difference btw good and excellent but these sweet treats are to die for. yes i sound like an over-enthusiastic food critic now but it's awesome seriously let's go when i get my next pay. YUMMMMM.

i went there with my SERVE babes on thurs, we hardly meet up but we always have memorable outings. like has to be awesome food or cool (mostly ulu) location or doing fun stuff. like how we had sashimi @ sagisawa which was as thick as my fingers! also at robertson quay, fyi.

oh and i had udders at the ulu part of bukit timah on wed! siglap one nicer venue but saw new weird flavours at bukit. it was aft yummy simpang-like dinner with cherrie jingyan esther at clementi area. we divulged alot of secrets HAHAHAH. it was awesome catching up with them la:) just that we kinda couldn't find the bus stop which had the buses that would bring us home, so in the end i burnt another hole in my wallet taking cab home:/

OK AND ROYALS CAFE@SIGLAP HAS SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS CHICKEN SOUP. order the set meal!
