this is what they describe taking on the director's role as - digging your own grave.
it's not just your grades that suffer, but the relationships with the people closest to you, especially those not involved in the production. sometimes i wonder if it's worth all the sacrifices made. or maybe i'm just not that good at keeping it together. there's just no space and time for anything besides everything to do with preparing for the musical! it's just... too much
or maybe i'm just too dependent on you to keep it together for me emotionally. i'm a stupid needy girl.
